Lovely Weather for Ducks (....and Hens?!)

So we flew to the other side of the world for good weather, then found ourselves in the middle of a category 2 cyclone!! I have never seen wind or rain like it. The best way to describe it (in your best Australian accent) was "far out!!" It was the day of Mike and Jayno's stag and hen do's, and so plans had to be altered slightly. The girls had to move their afternoon tea themed picnic inside, which actually didn't matter at all- we still had great fun. The boys went ahead with their 'human table football' despite the wind and the rain. It was probably a good thing as it meant Jon didn't get fried in the sun! In the evening, both groups went out for dinner and drinks. The hens went to a great restaurant called The Winery in Surrey Hills, and had cocktails and amazing food. It was a great day, and a really nice way to get to know people that will be at the wedding.
