Our friends from the UK, Nicky and John, are currently in New Zealand for their honeymoon (congratulations!). They're doing a road trip around the country, and so we had the pleasure of having them to stay for a night while they were in Wellington. They arrived early evening, so we took them round to the Rogue and Vagabond for pizza and a few beers. When we arrived there were lots of balloons and banners up- it turns out it was the dog's birthday. Happy birthday Bruce!
The next day the weather was beautiful, so we took our guests for brunch in a great little cafe on the beach. The views were stunning, and the food was fab. Sadly, Nicky and John had to leave at lunch time to get their ferry across to the South Island- it would have been great to have them to stay for longer, but it was great to catch up!
