After our drive up from Milford Sounds, we had time to get freshened up then go for dinner. When we were backpacking, word on the street was that we should go to a place called Fergburgers- this was a hole in the wall burger joint halfway down a dingy alleyway. The burgers were amazing, and so we were keen to go again this time. Oh how things have changed! Fergburgers is now a big restaurant on the main street, with a queue out of the door! The location may have changed, but I'm pleased to say the food was still epic. After our feast, we drove down to a great little place called Arrowtown for a drink.
The following day, Jon got the chance to fulfil a dream- we played crazy golf in Queenstown. We couldn't afford to do it last time (spent all our money on burgers), so Jon was really chuffed to see that it was still open. It was very silly but lots of fun.
We spent the evening going for a walk down by the latke, and watching a brilliant street entertainer. We had an early night to make sure we were up early to drive back up to Mount Cook.
