Pretty Perth

We started the day with a sea swim (Jon) and a run along the seashore (me) with Vik, Jim, Dave and members of the surf club, which was hard work but a great way to blow away the cobwebs.

For the rest of the day, The O'Raws took us on a tour of Perth. We started at Hillarys, a harbour resort full of posh boats and lovely restaurants. We then drove on to Kings Park, which has amazing views over Perth. It was huge, but amazingly well maintained- the grass looked as if it belonged on a golf fairway. There was loads to do there, including a bridge walk and fountains. Next stop was Cottesloe Beach, where they had a 'Sculptures by the Sea' exhibit on. Not knowing much about art, I thought some were a bit random, but some were stunning. We finished our day at a fish restaurant called Clancys, where we had fantastic fish and chips accompanied by yet another beautiful sunset.
